Data

Data policy

This page explains how Chromie collects, uses, stores, and deletes the data linked to your account and your game activity.

Account data

We store the information needed to operate your account: email address, nickname, identity provider identifier, and optional profile preferences when provided.

Game data

We record your match history, scores, statistics, points, unlocked rewards, and progression so we can power leaderboards, history views, and progression systems.

Leaderboard removal

When an account is deleted, it is removed from public leaderboards immediately. The related records then remain flagged as deleted until final purge.

Retention and deletion

Deleted accounts and related game data enter a delayed deletion window and are permanently removed from our databases within 6 months at the latest, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

Technical data and analytics

To measure app stability and usage, Chromie may send error and performance reports to Sentry, and usage data to Firebase Analytics such as platform, device model, app version, operating system version, approximate country, and some viewed events or screens. This data is used to diagnose incidents, monitor version adoption, and improve the product.
